The sacrifice that touches God’s heart fast is that for which no penalty is given if one does not give it nor incentives given to motivate the giving of the sacrifice. It allows for us to show our genuine love for God by sacrifice without any external motivation.

Jesus Christ willingly gave His life (John 10:18). Since Jesus the head of the church willingly gave His life, His body must give willingly, because when the perfect comes, the imperfect is done away with (1 Cor. 13:10).

The first congregational offering God requested Moses to ask from the Israelites was a free will offering without any negative or positive incentive.

Moses requested the offering for building the first dwelling place of God on earth (Exod. 25:2; 8). He allowed the people to give willingly without any promises of what God will give back to them in return or any punishment for refusing to give.

God said to Moses concerning the offering:

“Speak to the children of Israel that they bring Me an offering. From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering” (Exod. 25:2).

God emphasised that the offering must be given in love; taken from only those whose hearts prompt them, because it is His offering – for His dwelling place. The TJD offering today is for God’s dwelling place – unity of believers.

God wanted the offering for His dwelling place to be a willing sacrifice because the dwelling place at that time was a shadow of Jesus who will be God’s perfect dwelling on earth as revealed in Col. 1:19; 2:9, and who will be a willingly sacrifice.

This particular ministry has specific instructions for this global building of God’s present dwelling place amongst us.

God instructed me not to call on anyone personally for financial assistance concerning TJD; not to sell any Christian literature in the Ministry; not to invest in any money yielding business; not to count the number of financial partners in the ministry, so I don’t put my trust in numbers. He also told me not to tell anyone about our needs; not to publish TJD bank account details in any of our publications except on the TJD website so that those He stirs will get the details to act on. He said He will stir noble men and women to support His house willingly.

It is a total faith walk to trust God for the erection of this Global Living House of God being built with living stones by Jesus.

God was dwelling in Christ (Col. 1:19; 2:19) and when Christ went to heaven God began to dwell in His body on earth; not in bricks anymore, because when the perfect comes the imperfect is done away with (1 Cor. 13:10). While we need the bricks for ourselves, God needs us for Himself.

God gave the Israelites wealth in Egypt (Exod. 12:36) so they can use it to build His physical dwelling place with them in the wilderness (Exod. 25: 2; 8). He has given us wealth today to build His dwelling place with us. And His present dwelling place is in our unity. This is the vision of The Jesus Dream and the reason to prayerfully use your resources to enhance it when your heart is stirred by God.
