Firstly, no one can build God\u2019s house except Jesus. He said: <em>\u201cI will build My church&#8230;\u201d <\/em><em>(Matt. 18:16)<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p><p>If you want to be used by Jesus to build God\u2019s house, it\u2019s important for you to know what God says His house is.<\/p><p>Here is God\u2019s house according to the scriptures that cannot be broken or compromised;<\/p><ul><li>And we, (believers) as <strong>living<\/strong> stones are God\u2019s house (Heb. 3:6) not bricks.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>All of us (believers) <strong>together<\/strong> are the house of God (1 Cor. 3:16).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Together<\/strong> we (believers) are His house (Eph. 2:20).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>We are carefully <strong>joined together<\/strong> (unity) to become God\u2019s house where God dwells by His Spirit (Eph. 2:21-22).<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><ul><li>And you (believers) are <strong>living<\/strong> stones that God is using to build His spiritual house (1 Pet. 2:5).<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>QUESTION<\/strong><\/p><p>Why are we building luxurious cathedrals for our comfort and what God regards as His house that is<\/p><p>\u201cALL OF US TOGETHER\u201d is in ruins; divided and scattered? (Haggai 1:4).<\/p><p>When Jesus came out of the Jordan River, the Holy Spirit proceeded from the Father and dwelt in Him (Matt 3:16). From that moment, God began to dwell in Christ through His Spirit.<\/p><p><em>\u201cFor God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ.\u201d <\/em><em>(Col. 1:19)<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u201cFor\u00a0in Christ dwells all the fullness of God\u00a0in a human body.\u201d <\/em><em>(Col. 2:9)<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p><p>That was why God said that He was well pleased with Christ (Matt. 3:17) even though Christ had not yet preached or healed anyone at the time. God found a place to dwell on earth not made with human hands.<\/p><p>When Christ ascended to heaven, God could only now dwell in Jesus\u2019 body on earth.<\/p><p>When you support unity of His body, God will be well pleased with you too, as He did with Jesus the head.<\/p><p>It is time to arise and build by revelation and not by emotions, following the undiscerning crowd.<\/p><p>When God wanted to dwell in a brick Temple, the people turned their attention to building their own personal houses (Haggai 1-4). Now that God wants to dwell in the living body of Christ &#8211; <strong>our unity<\/strong>, majority of leaders are leading the people to turn away and build physical cathedrals.<\/p><p>If I was a pastor, I will build a cathedral and a beautiful one for that matter but I will do it with my left hand because of what Jesus told me in Mark 13:2 while I give my right hand to Jesus to be used to build the house God lives by His Spirit.<\/p><p>If you live by God\u2019s Word, join the chariot building according to the pattern of the apostles with Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone (Eph. 2:20). So that at the feet of Christ, you will be rewarded accordingly.<\/p><p><strong>While we need physical cathedrals for our dwelling, God needs us for His dwelling.<\/strong><\/p><p>Support <strong>The Jesus Dream <\/strong>&#8211; uniting the global body together in worship for God\u2019s dwelling.
