THE GREAT ASSEMBLY

“I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.”(Ps. 35:18).
God will dwell where two or three Christians are gathered in His name. (Mat 18:20). He dwells in our houses, churches, streets, etc.
As we further connect with more members of the Body of Christ, the dwelling place of God increases.
“In whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”  (Eph. 2:21:22).
Now, imagine Christians worldwide gathered wherever they are in the Spirit at the same hour in His name. This is The Great Assembly. (Ps. 35:18), which David spoke about in the Bible. It’s beyond any Church denomination or cliques of Christian or even Christian organizations. It cuts across various nations; it’s an assembly of Christians on earth who have acknowledged the Lordship of Jesus Christ.
A side commentary in a Bible, explains The Great Assembly in Psalm 35:18 as
“…..some suggest this anticipates a future gathering of all those around the world who serve the Lord”
Now TJD is manifesting as The Great Assembly, because the Holy Spirit Himself is mobilizing believers in Christ from all Churches to declare the wonders of God in unity worldwide. We are advised not to forsake the assembling of one another like some people do. (Heb. 10:25).
Every true believer must have a desire for God to dwell in a magnificent building.
Hear David:
“…the house to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent…” (1 Chron. 22:5).
That was the physical house of God but after Christ came as God’s perfect tabernacle, God continues to dwell in the Body of Christ- gathering of believers like TJD.
Men have divided the Body of Christ into parts, labeled them stylishly and displayed them on billboards. They have built strong walls around their carved domains. But the walls are crumbling now and this Great Assembly of God’s people will stand as a perpetual strong army, like the bones in the dry valley came together, standing strong.
